NEW SEEDS : PLANTING PROJECTS TO HARVEST DEVELOPMENT

The project intends to build water wells and to promote community agricoltural activities, in the villages of Mamanso Sanka and Makonday.

These two villages are in a badly stricken area by civil war and epidemics. Poverty level is extremely high and life expectancy is limited to 47,8 years. Not even half of the population can afford two meals per day.

The dramatic situation has attracted also the attention of PEDCO ( PEace and Development Cooperation).

Building non existing hygienic services is undergoing.

CHC main project target is to promote local food production, thus bringing some source of income and start developing the best energies available in the villages, following the successful experience in the Kwama community. Improving hygienic and sanitary conditions is a prime target as well.

Up to now a total of € 14.000 have been spent by CHC and Lions Club Cervino.
