AGRI-CULTURE II: AN INTEGRATED FUTURE FOR THE RURAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF KWAMA COMMUNITY
After an initial phase of basic training for the peasants of the Community of Kwama, the need is now for a quality step forward, both in technical and organizational terms.
Consequently Mr. Clement Kanu, CHC local coordinator, has been trained at the Songhai Center, during a full semester of studies, ended in Summer 2020.
His task is now to train people and develop the resources necessary to satisfy the needs of the Community. This involves meetings and transferring competences to about 400 peasants working in 20 Farm Communities.
To this purpose, CHC has made available to Mr. Kanu a pick-up truck, a power generator and a printer.

Among the first start-up projects the production of a better variety of Garri manioca, and a better irrigation system.
Also micro credit financial tools have been found.
Next phase will be the opening of two permanent consulting and training centers.
The expected need for funding is € 38.000, to be deployed by 2020 and beyond.
The local KDCP is helping by providing project space and organizational coordination.
The Kwama SMA Fathers society, is supervising the administrative and financial aspects of the project.
